1953

In 1953, Andy Warhol created a work illustrating an advertisement for Schiaparelli gloves intended for the American market.

During his first trip to Paris, the artist also made a drawing of Vespas captioned “Schiaparelli”, in memory of the Vespa displayed in one of the windows of the Schiaparelli boutique in the Place Vendôme.
